Two Pakistani Diplomats missing in Afghanistan

Pakistan officials announced on Sunday that two of its diplomats are missing in Nangarhar the eastern province of Afghanistan.
Foreign Ministry of Pakistan formally confirmed in a Press statement that two officials from Pakistan’s consulate to Jalalabad have been missing since Friday.
This Press statement further added: “The matter has been raised with the relevant Afghan authorities for their safety and recovery, at the earliest.”
According to this Press statement: “The Afghan authorities have informed that all efforts were in hand to probe the incident and three distinct investigating groups have been constituted to ensure safe recovery of the officials.”
Foreign Ministry affairs of Pakistan officials declared: “Pakistan has requested the Afghan government that all efforts may be made to ensure early recovery of our officials and bring the perpetrators of this heinous crime to justice.”
Afghan officials also has been confirmed that two Pakistani diplomats form its consulate General in Jalalabad the central of Nangarhar province have been missing between Jalalabad - Torkham crossing road.
Attaullah Khoghyani a spokesman for provincial governor of Nangarhar said two Pakistani diplomats have been missing while they were traveling to Pakistan in a car on Jalalabad - Torkham border.
