The Worlds largest cruise ship sets sail for the first time
March 12, Paris: The world's largest cruise ship, began its first sea trial in western France on Thursday.
According to reports, thousands of people gathered to watch the 70m (230ft) high vessel being guided out to sea by six tugs at the port of Saint-Nazaire .
The ship, 'Harmony of the Seas', worth €1bn is being built for the US based, Royal Caribbean International (RCI) cruise company and is expected to be delivered to the firm in May.The 120,000-tonne vessel will be able to accommodate over 6,000 passengers and 2000 crew members, it is 362m long
