    Talks begin to end violence in Libya: UN

    Sept.4, Tripoli: Talks have begun in Geneva to end more than a year of violence and political chaos in Libya. UN special representative for Libya Bernardino Leon is mediating the latest round of talks.

    UN has been brokering talks establishing a unified government and the September 3-4 talks are the latest around in long running peace negotiations.

    All the conflicting parties have confirmed their attendance in the meeting.
