Suicide bombers attack Police headquarters in Afghanistan

June 18, Baghdad: Kabul, June 18: Interior Ministry of Afghanistan formally confirmed that a group of suicide bombers attacked on the police headquarter of Paktia the eastern province of Afghanistan on early Sunday morning.
At least two police were killed and five other police wounded in that attack said Najibullah Danish a spokesman for Interior Ministry, but local officials of Paktica said five police killed 30 other including 10 police wounded in this suicide attack.
Danish further added five suicide bombers have attacked on the police headquarter of Paktica today morning.
A suicide bomber initially detonated a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device near the headquarters compound, allowing the other suicide bombers to launch the attack he said.
Danish declared: “two of the suicide bombers were killed during the initial minutes of the attack while one of them is still resisting the security forces”.The spokesman for Interior Ministry of Afghanistan said the incident took place at 6 AM (local time) in Gardez the central of Paktica province.
Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack. Zabihullah Mojahid a spokesman of Taliban wrote on his officials Twitter account this suicide attack has done by Taliban and more Afghan security forces have killed.
