Putin claims Turkey knew the fighter jets downed was Russian
Nov 27, Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin has rejected the Turkish claims that Turkey did not know whether the plane shot down was Russian. Putin said that the Russian planes were easily identifiable and the jet's flight co-ordinates had been passed on to Turkey's ally, the US.
Putin was speaking after meeting his French counterpart and pledging closer co-operation against Islamic State.
Meanwhile, Moscow has prevented Turkish tourists from entering Russia. Russian police have raided Turkish companies in different region of Russia and have suspended operation.
Turkish businessman claims that the shot down of Russian plane in the Syrian border has resulted to affect the businessman and tourists. Moscow has also sent back Turkish trucks loaded with exports at the border.
