By Mohammad Ibrahim (Abuja) Nigerian Army has confirmed that one of the 200 chibok girls kidnapped by Boko Haram Militants in North Eastern Nigeria in 2014 has been rescued. The military gave her name as Falmata Mbalala and that she was discovered at village near Damboa in Borno State. Army Acting Director Public Relations officer, Colonel Sani Usman Kukasheka confirmed the news of her released in a one paragraph statement made available to newsmen. "This is to confirm that one of the abducted chibok school girls, Falmata Mbalala, was among the rescued persons by our troops at Baale near Damboa," he said. It could be recalled that Boko Haram Militants stormed Government Girls Secondary School Chibok and kidnapped over 200 girls. The girls abduction led to demonstrations both within Nigeria and outside with a popular hash tag#bringbackourgirls#. The protest for the released of the girls got the support of President Obama's wife and other international communities.
