Jordan: Five intelligence agents killed in attack near Amman
June 6, Amman: Three Jordanian intelligence officers and two employees working for the intelligence department have been killed in an attack on a security office in a Palestinian refugee camp close to Amman, a government official told local media.
Jordanian television quoted a government spokesman on Monday saying the attack on the Baqaa refugee camp on the on the outskirts of the Jordanian capital was a "terrorist attack".
The official said that the incident took place in the large sprawling camp at 7am, but gave no further details.
