Dozens arrested in anti-terror raids in Belgium
Nov 23, Cairo: In search for prime suspect of Paris attack gunmen Salah Abdeslam, Belgian police have made 16 arrests in anti-terror raids. Police have carried out 22 raids on Sunday.
In a news conference Belgian prosecutor Eric van der Sypt said that hunt for Abdeslam is continued. During the operation police have shot at a car in Mlenbeek, which injured one suspect and was later arrested.
In the search operation no weapons and explosives were found on Sunday said van der Sypt.
Brussels remain on the highest level of terror alert said Belgium's Prime Minister Charles Michel said. Universities, schools and the city's metro system will also remain shut.
