    Australian Journalist wounded while reporting in Marawi

    June 15, Jakarta: An Australian Journalist Adam Harvey, was hit in the neck by a stray bullet in the Isis-occupied city of Marawi in the Philippines, today.

    According to reports the ABC’s Indonesia correspondent was wounded while reporting on the battle between Islamist militants and government forces. His injury is understood to not be life-threatening, with Harvey tweeting that he was fine despite the bullet being “still in my neck”, and it feels like being "struck by a cricket ball".

     Harvey is being treated in the Amai Pakpak medical centre and a video of him was posted to Facebook showing him receiving treatment while talking on the phone.
