    Afghan Turkmen leaders sign seven cooperation agreements

    July 4, Kabul: Ashraf Ghani the president of Afghanistan with his Turkmen counterpart have signed seven cooperation agreement on Tuesday July 4, 2017 said Afghan officials. 

    Presidential Place office said in a statement Afghan and Turkmen leaders signed those agreement in field academic, political, economic, trade and international road transport.

    Ashraf Ghani and his counterpart Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow discussed of economic, railway like and differences cooperation according statement.  

    Ashraf Ghani the president of Afghanistan traveled to Turkmenistan in an official invitation on Monday this week.
    Turkmen president said our country would export electricity to Afghanistan and via it to other countries.
    Afghan president declared the transfer of energy from Central Asia to South Asia, the continent will transform.
    A railway link from Torghondi of Afghansit to Aqina of Turkmenistan has been inaugurated by Afghan and Turkmen leaders last years.
    On the other hand both the leaders also spoke about TAPI gas pipeline project which involves Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India (TAPI).
    Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow the president of Turkmenistan said that the work on project will be completed in due time
